Hello, I’m Carla. I am a counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with sensitivity and respect to support you in whatever might be troubling you at the moment.

I trained in Integrative Transpersonal counselling and psychotherapy at Re-Vision in London and I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).

I have worked with people suffering with trauma, grief, heartache, loss, anxiety, depression, shame, isolation, procrastination, low self-esteem, fearfulness, stress, relationship difficulty, anger, emptiness, and overwhelm.

Read about my background

Integrative   I practise integrative counselling and psychotherapy, which means that I draw from a range of approaches depending on your needs and strengths. For example, you might choose to work with dreams or drawing to support our conversation. I mainly use psychodynamic, Jungian, gestalt, humanistic, and transpersonal approaches.

Relational Our relationship is central to our work together. You may find that patterns from your everyday life crop up between us, so our relationship can become a practice space for looking at these patterns. I will support and challenge you in this, working collaboratively and with respect for your autonomy.

Transpersonal I work within a transpersonal framework. For some people this is about spirituality, for others it might be thinking about how we belong - or not - in the bigger picture of the world.

Fees  £70 per session. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation initially.

Contact   Email burnscarla@gmail.com or complete the form below.

Location   All sessions online or by phone. Previously I was working face-to-face in Old Street London.

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
